Kakegawa Grand Hotel’s “Tanabata Decorations” decorated with everyone’s wishes
※ What is “Tanabata” ?
・Tanabata is a traditional Japanese festival celebrated on July 7th.
・Tanabata is also known as the Star Festival.
・We celebrate Tanabata by writing wishes on colorful paper strips and hanging them on bamboo branches.
・The legend says that Tanabata is the day when two lovers, Orihime and Hikoboshi, can meet across the Milky Way.
Tanabata season has come to Kakegawa Grand Hotel again this year.
In the lobby in front of the 1st floor front desk, we have prepared a large bamboo for everyone to send their wishes to the heavens.
Why not write your wishes on colorful strips of paper?
Each wish of yours will make the Tanabata decorations even more beautiful.
